I made these cups as a limited run of 16. They are wheel thrown and then altered by hand to form skulls, along with pulled handles. I glazed them in a semi-matte black glaze I developed for my sculptural work. I used underglaze to paint the bare clay underneath the cups and iron oxide brushwork to sign each piece.
The cups are all slightly different dimensions, around 8.5cm height by 8cm diameter, and work well as small coffee cups.
